TURKISH GIANTS IN FOR VILLA'S NIGEL REO-COKER
Galatasaray have made the first move to sign Aston Villa’s Nigel Reo-Coker on a free transfer.
Reo-Coker is back in favour at Villa Park after the appointment of new manager Gerard Houllier.
The tough-tackling midfielder has impressed the Frenchman, but is out of contract at the end of the season.

Under FIFA rules, Reo-Coker can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January.
And Turkish giants Galatasaray have already made their interest known in the former England Under-21 skipper.
Starsport understands the Istanbul club have made initial contact with Reo-Coker’s representatives about the prospect of signing the former West Ham star next summer.
However, Houllier has already hinted that he wants to offer Reo-Coker a new contract, while the 26-year-old is likely to have a number of other offers on the table come January.
Villa have yet to call the midfielder in for talks over a fresh deal, though the club are expected to do so before the end of the month.
